We are offering FREE wellbeing workshops to students in primary and secondary schools. The workshops utilise our digital financial education programmes, with our primary school workshop available for students aged 7 to 11 and secondary school workshops available for students aged 11 to 16.
Primary School Workshop (Ages 7-11)
Our primary school wellbeing workshop explores critical concepts such as empathy, growth mindset and managing your emotions. Through The Compassion Project courses, students will learn how to be compassionate in the classroom and support the engaging characters through their own journeys on understanding how to manage your emotions. The online course focuses on scenario-based learning and uses a variety of learning tools such as videos, quizzes and reflections questions.
Secondary School Workshop (Ages 11-16)
Our secondary school workshop includes a short film featuring young people speaking about their mental health journeys. Students aged 14 to 16 then explore what it means to be mentally healthy, the signs that can indicate mental health challenges, and the steps they can take to keep themselves and others well. Our Understanding Mental Wellbeing course signposts key website and resources for students to use.
Our curriculum-linked workshops are one hour long, and students will need access to a device as part of the session. We can run the session more than once during the day to reach a greater number of students.
