EVERFI are looking for a range of teacher types to review new healthy eating resources for primary and secondary students.
Help us teach young people about the importance of learning to cook!
Cooking is an essential life skill that enables students to feed themselves and their family’s affordably and well, now and in later life. Help us in the development of new, cross-curricular resources to encourage pupils to create a campaign to help all young people learn to cook.
We would like teachers to review the content outline and draft resources for relevance to the UK curriculum, engagement, and appeal for their pupils. The aim of the resource is for pupils to gain an understanding of why cooking is an important skill, apply the principles of healthy eating, and gain understanding of the barriers different people face to achieving a healthy, balanced diet.
Who? KS2, KS3 and KS4 teachers from across the UK, including those with SEND experience or speciality.
When? Content outline feedback by 15th February; draft resources feedback by 14th March.
Incentive? £50
How long? We estimate 2.5 hours in total: the content outline feedback will take 30-45 minutes to review, and the draft resources an hour and a half.
Please register your interest by Wednesday 8th February and forward this on to anyone who may be interested!
