Help bring creativity and innovation into the classroom and beyond by joining the Education Steering Group for an exciting major event.

We are looking for teachers at all levels to join the Education Steering Group for an exciting large-scale event focused on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths), to ensure that it offers great learning opportunities for young people and reaches schools around the UK.

You’ll play an important role in ensuring that young people benefit from this major event that will be coming to the UK later this year, helping to shape the strategic direction of the learning offer.

So, if you’re a teacher of children and young people aged 5-18 across the home nations, with a passion for STEAM, we would like to heard from you.

What’s required?

You’ll be required to attend four board meetings (online) over the course of 2022, of approximately an hour each, and you’ll receive £75 for each one. The first session is at 4.30pm on 10th February, so please let us know if you wouldn’t be able to attend at that time. We’d also like you to share opportunities related to the learning offer with your peer networks over the coming months.

You need to be willing to speak up in a crowded ‘room’ and talk confidently about what teachers and young people need!

Please respond by midday on Friday 21st January. If you are shortlisted, we will need to have a quick 5-10 minute chat with you by video call or phone on Monday 24th January before 5pm to find out some more information, and will contact you on Friday afternoon to book this in.
