KS2 and KS3 primary teachers: help develop some resources for an upcoming sporting competition

We are looking for KS2 and KS3 teachers to help shape the development of free curriculum-linked resources for an upcoming sporting competition. The resources will be used by schools across the country to engage young people with the upcoming tournament, raise the profile of the game and encourage young people to try the sport.

The resources will focus on the following themes and topics: resilience, a grown mindset, teamwork, challenging emotions, strategies to support wellbeing and the story of the team and how they’re preparing for the upcoming tournament. There will be a variety of resources included in the programme, including PSHE lessons, school assemblies and challenge activities.

We would like teachers to review content for relevance to the UK curriculum and engagement and appeal for their students.

The review will be in two batches and roughly follow the timeline below:

  • Batch 1: Review synopsis – 11-14th October (allow half an hour)
  • Batch 2: Review synopsis – 14-19th October (allow half an hour)
  • Batch 1: Review typescript – 20-26th October (allow half an hour)
  • Batch 2 – Review typescript – 2-5th November (allow half an hour)

The dates are approximate and may be subject to change.

We estimate the work will take roughly 2 hours for all 4 elements and we will pay you £50 for your time.

We will provide all the materials for you to review as well as templates for your feedback.
